This email came for me today.

If you have been reading through other birth stories, you might start to see some common themes with Hypnobirths

  • “Bub stayed calm the whole time”
  • “Our midwife said she hadn’t seen a couple work so well together”
  • “It was not exactly what we hoped for but I would still say we had a positive experience”.
  • “Our 3.6kg bundle is so calm and settled.”

As a midwife, I know things can deviate from our “plans” but it doesn’t mean the experience can’t still be a positive one.

This is why I teach Hypnobirthing Australia programme, because it really does prepare couple to meet whatever turn their births take.

Hi Pip,

Just wanted to drop a line and let you know how much we appreciate what your hypnobirthing course did for us!

Emilia was born 1 week ago after 40+ hours of labour.

positive Long LabourBub stayed calm the whole time and even though I ended up having a few things not go quite as I would have liked.

We still managed a natural birth just as they were setting up the vacuum.

We showed them!

Our midwife said she hadn’t seen a couple work so well together throughout the whole journey as Chris and I did, and was very glad we pulled it off naturally in the end.

It was not exactly what we hoped for and I wanted to give up many times but I would still say we had a positive experience.

I doubt I could have said that without having done hypnobirthing!

Our 3.6kg bundle is so calm and settled and we have had a great week.

Thank you so much again x
